A downtown Iraqi Henna party, followed by an old world celebration at the iconic Seagram Building’s Pool and Grill. The couple’s inspiration was the genre of Vanitas, with an intentional balance of opulence and playful theatrics.
Vanitas is a genre of memento mori symbolizing the transience of life, the futility of pleasure, and the certainty of death, and thus the vanity of ambition and all worldly desires.
